Evaluation and Individual PsychotherapyWe specialize in professional assessment and diagnosis to help individuals work through identification and denial of the disease. The evaluation is typically two hours in length where a trained clinician goes through a scripted set of questions to uncover the extent of the problem, which is called the clinical interview. In addition, the client will take a set of psychological measures. This will help in diagnosing sexual addiction and will help determine if there are other psychological challenges present. The testing and clinical interview is done in person. Upon completion of the evaluation process assessment and diagnosis will be determined. The clinician conducting the evaluation will get back to you within 48 hours to discuss proper recommendations or referral. Individual therapy is offered to addicts and partners of addicts addressing the cycle of addiction, distorted thinking, impulsive thoughts/behaviors and treatment of compulsive patterns.
